The measure tasks DICT, DBM, and COA to create a blockchain-based system with a public portal, enabling citizens and oversight bodies to monitor budget allocations and prevent hidden or fraudulent projects.

Oh great, because what the national budget really needs is a sprinkling of blockchain magic—surely the same tech behind rug pulls, pump-and-dumps, and “decentralized” scams will finally fix government accountability.
