It’s hard to ignore that Signal remains unreliable in the Philippines, especially during registration. Local carriers may be part of the problem, but Signal’s own system clearly doesn’t cope well with inconsistent SMS delivery. Verification fails, “Call me” never appears, and users get stuck. Until this is resolved, widespread adoption here will stay difficult.
