Tried to make a Facebook Page for DeutsFlix, my personal movie stash for friends.
All I wanted: post to my own Page via API.
What I got: use cases, business portfolio links, locked permissions, and zero “consumer” options.
Facebook isn’t for hobbyists anymore. It’s all ads and enterprise gatekeeping.
Moving to the fediverse where personal projects still belong.
